Cape Town, South Africa • We are so grateful that we were able to visit Cape Town before the pandemic. We loved exploring the city and the Cape Peninsula. { New Blog Post } “Copenhagen, Denmark” • We had the best time visiting this city last year. Lake Tahoe, California • It’s the first time we’ve left our home in Reno for awhile and came up to Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful day and it felt so good to be outside and enjoying Earth Day in one of our favorite places. We were able to maintain social distancing and had such a fun day paddle-boarding and laying in the sun. ☀️

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • The best moment during our safari with @singita_ was finding a mother leopard and her three month old cubs. 🐆 The two cubs were super playful, pouncing on their mom and playing around in the dirt. After a little while all three of them climbed up into a tree to relax. The sun had just started to rise and the lighting was perfect. It was a surreal moment we will never forget. 🌅 • On a side note, @singita_ has been doing live videos every morning. We love tuning in and getting to see different animals each day. It’s like being back on our safari even though we are stuck at home.

Giraffe Manor, Kenya • One of the most unique places in the world.🦒 In 1970 the Leslie-Melville family started adopting Rothschild Giraffes which live happy lives with their growing family on their 150 acre property in Kenya. This specific species of giraffe is one of the most endangered species on the planet! It was remarkable getting to spend time with these gental giants. For more photos and videos go to our story.

{ New Blog Post } “Stockholm, Sweden” • One of the coolest things we did in Stockholm was spending an afternoon exploring the incredible Subway art throughout the city. We looked up which stations we wanted to see and planned our own route. There are 90 stations that have been decorated with paint, mosaics, lighting, and sculptures created by over 150 artists. It is the largest art exhibition in the world stretching over 110 kilometers. Head to our blog to see which stations were our favorite.

{ New Blog Post } “Stockholm, Sweden” • We are using our time at home to get caught up on blog posts. First up is Stockholm. 🇸🇪 We had the best time exploring this beautiful city, mostly on electric scooters. The best way to get around! We fell in love with the cobbled alleyways in the Old Town and were surprised to find out that the city is set on 14 different islands. It’s incredible to see nature and history collide around every corner in Stockholm. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • Breakfast goals at @singita_ Faru Faru Lodge. 🍳

Faru Faru Lodge, Tanzania • The most beautifully designed room in the middle of the Serengeti. The bed was so cozy, we always looked forward to afternoon naps in-between game drives. Across from the bed was wall to wall windows with incredible views. We laid in bed and watched the baboons playing in the trees. 🐒

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • The Kings of the savannah. 🦁 Our first time seeing Lions in the wild was an emotional experience. The majestic animals are even more beautiful in person than we imagined.

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • Coffee break in the bush. ☕️ A couple hours into our morning game drive we stopped and sipped on coffee spiked with Amarula. This creamy liquor is made from the African Marula tree. We could see for miles in every direction with hundreds of animals in view and not another person in sight.

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • Welcome to our tent. ⛺️ Out in the middle of the Serengeti, @singita_ Explore Camp is a mobile tented lodge that moves locations depending on where the animal herds are. Sleeping under a canvas roof in this environment was extremely special. We dined under the stars with food cooked over the fire and listened to the nature sounds as we drifted to sleep. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • We couldn’t believe it when our guide @brayamasunga spotted this female Leopard in a tree far off in the distance. It was our first time seeing a large cat up close. We watched as she bounded down from the tree and found a nice spot to lay down for a nap. She walked right by us and we were able to get a close look at her beautiful spotted coat. 🐆

Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda • The Golden Monkeys in Rwanda live in the same forest as the famous Mountain Gorillas. They love munching on bamboo and are adorable with their long golden facial hair. Sadly they are a highly endangered species with only 500 left in the area. 😢 The government, rangers and scientists have all taken action to protect them from further habitat destruction and with the new plan to expand the forest in Volcanoes National Forest the hope is that species like these will grow in numbers!

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania • Taking a dip in Faru Faru Lodge’s insane pool. Our 4 days with @singita_ exploring their 350,000 acre animal reserve was unreal. It was pretty incredible to be swimming in the middle of the Serengeti while watching the elephants and baboons off in the distance. 🐘

Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda • The moment of a lifetime, seeing the Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat in Rwanda. We will never forget how surreal this experience was. 🦍
